Very upset with the waitress shaming a mother feeding her baby! It’s against the law! She had every right to feed that babe, you have forever lost my business.

Get the the fingers and you will know you were just barely getting by in life. I drive an hour out of my way to eat here. I only want more. The price is very affordable as well.

The most rude and disrespectful customer service I have ever had IN MY LIFE!! The server was extremely disrespectful, because I was breastfeeding my baby. No part of my nipples were showing and it is the law that I can breastfeed anywhere she told me that I was no welcome there or aloud to breastfeed: so if your a breastfeeding mother don’t Waist your time there

For a small town in East New Mexico, a must stop for the best steak fingers we ever had. The homemade apple was also delicious.

Amazing food. Cheeseburger was excellent. My husband had the veal cutlet which was very good he could barely finish it but he make sure he didn't leave a piece. One of the locals recommended the steak fingers. If we come by here again that's my next meal.

Very fast service, had some delicious fresh made steak fingers!

This website states that they close at 8:30, and I walked in at 7:30. I didn't notice the handwritten sign on the door stating 8pm until after I finished my meal, payed and walked out. Coming from someone who has managed a restaurant, having someone come in 30 minutes before closing time and ordering steak and fries is not always a welcome sight. However, she promptly took my order as if they were gonna be open for another 3 hours! Their salad bar was still up and stocked. The large cut fries were cooked perfectly and didn't require the typical side of ketchup, as the juices of the steak seasoned them quite well. The sirloin was not the best steak that I've ever had, but certainly NOT near the worst. Again, I walked in 30 minutes before closing. The meal certainly was satisfying!Knowing that they're closing, she still bothered to ask me if I'd like some pie. If it weren't for my intolerance to gluten, I would've taken her up on that offer because the pies did look good.

They shame breastfeeding mothers and make them feel unwelcome. It is natural for a mother to feed her child. I will never set foot in this restaurant.

Unable to eat here because the kitchen help made us move from the only shady spot. We explained we had our dog but she said we had to park in the sun. Shame on you!

Very disappointed last three times I have gone there they were closed. Stating on website open til 8:30. They were closed at 6:00 wth only couple places to eat in this small town and they are closed. Terrible service. If gonna close change website. Come on take care of your customers. I know the owner is the only person whom waits on tables. Do I leave tip or not. Not fair to consumer. I am sure no one will review this but that is what I have to say. Will never go back again .

It is natural to breastfeed a baby!! Shame on this establishment for making a breastfeeding mother leave. It is ABSOLUTELY against the law and I hope this mother contacts all local news stations AND lawyers!! I will NEVER stop at this establishment and I hope other won’t as well. This business should be ashamed of themselves, especially the older female waitress that yell and belittled her in front of everyone!!!

Always great food wonderful service

Freshly made chicken fried steak with real mashed potatoes. Chile Verde perfectly spiced, served with toasty flour tortillas. Lived up to our expectations and more!

Shame on this establishment for allowing such horrible treatment to a mother trying to feed her baby as nature intended. The day and age we live in breastfeeding is normal and should not warrant such discriminating behavior. The food may be great, but acceptance and courtesy are lacking.

Home cooked style food at a great price. The waitress was so nice and friendly. Comfortable atmosphere with friendly local folk. Easy to understand why EVERYONE was smiling after I tasted the food. We had the chicken fry steak special. It came with boiled zucchini squash, corn, gravy and some of the best black eyed peas I've had in a long time. Oh, and they start you off with a bowl of wonderful potato soup! If your in the area, take the time to check them out!

This establishment allows its waiters to discriminate against breastfeeding mothers. It is unlawful and just outright disrespectful. I would NOT recommend eating here if you have a family or might have to feed your child.Starting in 1978, New Mexico passed legislation to help protect breastfeeding mothers in the state. BREASTFEEDING IN PUBLIC PLACES: NMSA 1978, Section 28-20-1 (1999) makes it legal for a mother to "breastfeed her child in any location, public or private, where the mother is otherwise authorized to be present."

Very good home cooked meals lot on my plate as you can see was passing through from working and I was a little scared to go in as did not look very impressive I am very glad I took a chance because FOOD WAS DELICIOUS the lady who helped me out I think was the owner was very respectful

Hungry and driving through an area we had never been. Saw the cafe and pulled in. GREAT CHOICE. Hope to come back again someday. The waitress was wonderful. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was comfortable, We both had ribeyes and fries. A bargain and perfectly cooked. As good a steak as you will get anywhere. "These fries are good," says the husband who never complimented fries before. Got a piece of apple pie to go! Looks good. But stuffed right now. Next time I want the steak fingers after reading all these reviews.

No customer should be asked to leave because they are breastfeeding a baby. Will not return. Be better people.

Fabulous! Excellent service and the food is outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Had biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were soft and delicious and came with 3 of them with a big bowl of gravy. Pretty decent price; menu is a bit confusing but it was great service. Please do not move the tables, a couple of signs were posted. Family enjoyed it.

After looking at the reviews, I sort of felt obligated to try the amazing steak fingers. The half order was plenty for me, and wow were they tender. It came with a drink, gravy, fries, bread, and a salad bar.
